As a campaign operative and, in even numbered years, a candidate, I want to say how much I appreciate the bikies injecting themselves into local politics. To offer a tangible benefit of this involvement, let me share my observations at the Long Range Transportation Planning Commission. I look around the room and my colleagues on the Commission are: Robbie Tim Wong Matt Logan (until recently) Mark Shahan Mike Rewey Good god, we're running the place. From my days as a 17 year old running up and down Long Island on my bicycle, things sure have changed. To quote one of my political mentors, Jim Morrison, "We want the world and we want it..."
