Hello all, Starting Monday, 5/14/07, the Waisman Path, on the UW campus, will be detoured slightly south onto the sidewalk just east of the building until just past the Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Starting approximately 5/21/07 bicycle traffic on Observatory Dr. traveling west of the WARF Building will be detoured slightly to the south onto a sidewalk. In July, all traffic will be detoured off Observatory Dr. and the bridge over Willow Creek to a temporary bridge at Linden Dr. Signage for these detours will be provided. Other detours will be announced during the progress of this project through December 2008. Fortunately, these projects will result in new bike lanes on Observatory Dr., the bridge over Willow Creek, and on Highland Ave. with an improved easterly connection for the Waisman Path.
