5th Annual Madison Blues Society Picnic in Madison This Saturday. This could be the last one.
Mike Neuman ---------- Forwarded Announcement ---------- Madison Blues Picnic on a Saturday This Year?! 18 Jun 2007 Madison Blues Society and Vera Court Neighborhood Center are hosting Madison's annual blues music picnic and festival on Saturday, June 23, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Warner Park. Picnic planners chose a Saturday this year, rather than a Sunday, because it rained the last three Sundays on the day of the picnic. (The first year of the picnic was the only time that it didn't rain on Sunday.) The 5th Annual Madison Blues Society (MBS) picnic kicks off with a performance by Vera CourtÂ’s "blues kids", followed by a line-up of well known local and regional blues bands. Admission to the picnic is always free. Food, beer and other beverages are available for purchase from local food venders and beer tents.
