Dear Jeff, Not a pun about the "right" idea, but I could sure see packing an exposed revolver. I don't believe "redneck" should be applied anymore, though. I never could understand that term, implying a rural working class. A relative from Seattle would apply that to all my neighbors in small town Wisconsin about thirty years ago and it didn't apply at all.
But as to the mirror: can one get one to work when you are in a racing position where your eyes are barely able to see high enough for the road ahead? In fact I nearly get unstable reaching to my back pocket to click on my red LED clipped there. And if a mirror is a fish-eyed one, can one get used to that in racing position? And if a car or truck is coming up fast--then what? A mirror would take care of the "total surprises"---such as electric cars?
