This brings up a question: if a bicyclist causes damage in an accident, what insurance covers it? I have car and home/liability - if I cause property or or injury, which applies? My bike is a vehicle, but my ins. co doesn't cover it, of course. It's personal property, so if it's stolen, my home policy covers it...
If I am injured by another bicyclist, besides filing a police report, do I just go see who I'd see normally for injuries, and then tell them it was related to a crash? My other questions about this particular accident are: is there a stop sign there, so stopping had to occur, and did your friend use signals? I stop for all stop signs, adn signal at each of them, and I too have been rear-ended, though in California. Here people have managed to dodge me.
