Dear Group, Is there a surprise that Ann Freiwald's reply from a casual e-mail comment is merely a form letter on policy? I would expect that nobody in this group is surprised. Therefore does this rate as another trigger to get off on politics? Whether "spin" or from her "heart of hearts" one must admit it does say the correct things. It fits well with the BFW which advocates here in Wisconsin and she claims her policy to be that of Federal funding of State initiative. Come-on now---criticism and dismissal as just boiler-plat-spin drivel is disingenuous.
And if the criticism is about some interview where she seemed to dismiss the bicycle as a serious contender for money--face it--it is NOT. -----numbers of people/travel miles---cargo tonnage???? Be happy with the boiler plate acknowledgment of the bicycle. I would anticipate no other response from "the other political party."
