Bikies Folx,
I'm trying to figure out a route for a ride to a farm just NW of New
Glarus. Since I'll be hauling along some less-experienced cyclists,
I thought I'd ask here if anyone could help figure out a good route.
We'd like to take the Badger State Trail, which I believe more or
less "begins" in Paoli (until the paved trail to the Capital City
Trail is done, at least.) Where in Paoli can we pick that up, and is
there parking nearby?
Then, where should we turn off to reach New Glarus? Looking at maps,
it looks like I could simply wait until the BST intersects with the
Sugar River Trail, but that takes us a bit further south -- I'm
trying to keep the distances to a reasonable minimum.
How hilly is this route?
