State and local government officials are.hosting a listening session on the proposed 1/2% Sales Tax increase to support a Regional Transport Authority tonight. It would be good to have advocates commenting in support of the RTA to balance those who are speaking against it.
Without an RTA, motor vehicle traffic in Madison and the problems that go with it (bike/pedestrian deaths and injuries, pollution emissions, increased road construction) can only get worse.
