Oh, that's a pile of ****, it's a myth. (Real) Beer is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Consider Rich Becker, brewmaster at JTWhitney's. I confess I may have had some very tiny role in getting him turned on to bicycling, but he's gone way beyond that, now almost 50 and completed the Ironman...and also has been known regularly to bring home a growler from work to enjoy in the evening. I could see doing the bicycling or the running part (perhaps even the open water distance swim part, although I have not actually tried that part personally) individually, but to do all three in the same day is beyond me. So the beer must be helping Rich accomplish all that added physical activity. Could he have done that as well without the beer fuelling? ;-) Perhaps, but it certainly hasn't hurt him. _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
