Steve,

The public library usually has copies of a small booklet listing and
mapping farm stands and weekend farmers markets in the county.

Also, here are links to a couple articles on organized rides to CSA and
other farms. They have contact information for the umbrella CSA group
and Sustain Dane, so that should enable you to contact someone who can
help you locate a produce stand or two along a reasonable route.

        Hi All,

I'm guiding a small posse of cyclists down the Capital City Path
from Madison this weekend and am wondering if anyone knows of any farms,
farm stands, pumpkin stands in the general vicinity of the path. The
closer to Madison/ Lake Waubesa, the better as I really don't want to
tow a 60 pound pumpkin back from Oregon.

        Much Thanks,

        Steve
