Wearing both my alder and bike advocate hat for a moment, I wanted to
remind people that next Thursday, November 1, at 7 PM, there will be a
meeting in the West High School cafeteria to discuss the reconstruction
of the Monroe-Regent intersection. This will also affect the SW Path,
Breese Terrace, Little St, Crazy Legs Dr, and all that "what-have you."
City staff wanted to be sure that this notice got out to a wide
audience. A postcard was mailed today to neighborhoods closest to the
intersection, but many people not living in the immediate area use this
intersection, and it is truly multi-modal. Please pass this on to anyone
you know might want to attend.
