And yes, in the first National election after I turned 21, I campaigned
for and
voted for Goldwater!  And that is my point here---that ALL WISCONSIN
didn't
follow MADISON in voting in JF Kennedy and LB Johnson.  And had I been
able to
vote a decade earlier, it would have been for Robert Taft rather than
Eisenhower.
