Dear Kirk,

There you go again--you or others--assuming that criticism or my "topics" are  "one dimensional." (even if "smart growth" seems to be a bur under your saddle) It seems that those who could not stand my comments were when I was discussing the sociological decline of the bicycle and possible causes from "my perspective" in the "rural part" of Wisconsin as opposed to Madison.  Then we heard from those demanding to be excluded from "bikies" because of "finger fatigue" deleting my comments.  So, quit "belittling" those you "seem" to have a beef with.

Eric,

I think you're being paranoid.  The only suggestion below is to start a discussion board so we can have more than one thread going at the same time.  There are MANY topics beyond smart growth and land use that people may want to discuss and it is easier to follow ALL the myriad discussions from a discussion board than from an email listserv.

You can still have your own thread, or comment on a thread about smart growth if you so desire - this change wouldn't be about YOU even though I know it's tempting for you to think so.

Dear Bikies "critics",

The move is on to solidify against "inner sanctum heresy."  The
suggestions seem to be those which:

1. Keep threads separated so that one can more easily  read only from
other "faithful"--whatever the flavor or topic.

2. Provide edited and censored news streams acceptable to the dogma of
the "Faithful" over simply posting general links of different views.

3. As of yet--not thought of--methods of exclusion and preventions of
"bothersome" views or downright heresy.

This might be a good time to ask if bikies has outgrown the software
that
currently supports it.  Perhaps discussions would be easier to follow
(or
ignore, if that's what you want) if we had a discussion board that
supports threading.  A discussion board might be easier to administer,
too.
