Home visiting my mom in Janesville. We drove downtown on Milwaukee St, which growing up was always a 2 lane, 1 way street that turns into a 3 lanes when you get downtown. Now it appears the city wanted to make a section of it 1 lane, so what did they do, added bike lanes on both sides! It looked somewhat odd because on both sides is parking w/fairly wide bike lanes & of course it's all freshly painted. At 1st I thought this was pretty cool until we got closer to downtown where the 1 lane all of a sudden turned into 3 lanes w/no bike lanes offered & no signage telling cyclist where to go. It's weird because beyond bike paths, Janesville doesn't offer any accommodations for cyclists, so this seemed to be a test run in the middle of nowhere & no feeders into or no exits out of the test lanes. I really wanted to take a picture of it because I bet the next time I'm here the lanes are repainted. Aaron
