I was tempted by carbon fiber when it first started showing up around bike shops until i did some research on the stuff. bad, bad, bad. and, besides any weight saving on this frame is gonna be offset by that "shock absorbing" fork and wheelset which isn't necessary unless you're climbing Mount Everest. here's some more info. on frame material myths: http://www.rivbike.com/article/bicycle_making/frame_materials my favorite quote: "The Delta 7 Arantix frame at a distance.
