Most of the members of the Platinum Committee are pretty serious
cyclists...actually, all of them are. I saw John Coleman out on Sunday on his
bike, for instance.
As Steve said, conditions suck for everyone at the moment. The city only has
so much in the way of staff, equipment, and resources. I think they are doing
the best job that they can. If not every road is happily bikeable this week,
it isn't out of malice or neglect.
I'm all for biking through winter and I do so on 90% of winter days...but I'm
on the bus this week and I don't think there is any shame in that.
