Hmmm... I would think that if the City did not correctly stipulate the sidewalk requirement, they can still claim a sidewalk easement via adverse possession, and have it solidified in court, because that strip of property was used openly for that purpose for 20 years -- Or does the adverse possession clock restart upon transfer of the property?
