Subject: [Bikies] Do the Horizontal Arrest

Last night I dreamed that I was riding my old Hercules at such a speed
and around such a sharp corner that the bike and I were nearly laying on
our sides. What an exhilarating feeling! On my ride in this morning I
was reminded that achieving such an angle is not really practical,
especially on snow. On a few corners I stuck my inner foot far out to
the side to stabilize the bike- a maneuver I'm sure any winter rider is
familiar with, but to my knowledge does not have a name. I thought of a
few: The "human kick-stand", the "horizontal arrest" or perhaps the
"kick-stand".

Anyone else have a better moniker for this move?
