I vaguely remember hearing Community Bank at the meeting, but didn't find
anything like that in the phone book. There is a Community Bankers of
Wisconsin in the phone book on County M, with an 833 number.

If anyone would like to see the latest iteration of what is going to happen
at the intersection of Junction Rd/Cty Hwy M and Mineral Point Rd (Cty Hwy
S) - AKA the S&M Intersection - there will be a meeting to get public
comment next Thursday, Feb 28, at 6 PM. It will be held at the bank at that
same corner (whose name I can't remember.) For those wondering where this
is, it is the big intersection where Menards, Target, the Trek Store,
Steve's Liquor, etc is located on the west side, just past the Beltline.

This intersection is going to be very complicated, regardless of what is
built. Right now, it doesn't look good for any mode of transportation, and
certainly pedestrians and bicyclists are going to have a very tough time.
The current budget for the intersection is estimated to be $18,000,000, and
about half of that will be shouldered by the City of Madison taxpayers, so I
hope many people will be interested in what is being planned. Unfortunately,
I won't be able to get to this meeting.

If anyone goes, please report back, 'cause I can't wait to see what the
latest plan looks like.

Robbie
