The Channel 3000 website recently adopted a policy that promotes more objective language in stories involving crashes. I have been hard pressed to find the word "accident" on any story written in March, and it seems like recent stories focus more on driver actions rather than non-human factors.
It is a sublte shift in language, but an important step in promoting a culture of greater road user responsibility. I think a little positive reinforcement is in order: If you have a spare minute for a little bike advocacy today , please send Managing Editor David Hyland ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] ) a quick note of thanks.
