The Fossil Fools issue is what it is-an odd way to make the point-(doing it in
infill/transit/walk to...oriented neighborhoods), but clearly in transit
choices, as well as housing and land use, we as a city, as a country, as a
planet..have to improve our "game"....and be more eco friendly and live our
lives in an increasingly sustainable way...below is something I sent out today
to a large group of people in my industry....if you'd like the attachment I
mention at the beginning, which I can't do on the list...then email me and I'll
send it. Preaching too the choir..I know...but the more we can link our
neighbors and others to info on doing the right thing..and how it will help
their pocketbooks...and the planet...is a good thing.

Best day of the year...get on your bikes and ride!

      Hello all,

I've attached a very interesting story from this month's Builder Magazine
about building standards for energy efficient homes for your review...but
remember, there are benefits for renovating existing housing for your own home
and being a great resource for your clients, customers and neighbors on how
they can improve their own homes as well...and their marketability in the long
run! There are energy cost reductions/usage as a result and tax benefits as
well.

Below, I've got a few links you may want to look at. One of the goals of our
RASCW Green Realtors group is to create a great resource page...one
locale...that has links that we can pass on as added value to our
clients...some of us are already doing.

Some good links for you here:

  http://www.greenbuilthome.org/ includes info on renovation
http://www.wi-ei.org/ great site that links to green built and other programs
http://www.focusonenergy.com/ another great link site to programs etc...

  Think Green..Think Spring!
