As you probably know, the Ride Guide is one of the most important bicycling documents in the state, and we have scores of advertisers, members and customers who are all anxiously awaiting its release. The Ride Guide mailing is important, just as the Madison City Council meeting is important, which is why the Bicycle Federation staff, board volunteers and members are meeting at the Doty St office on Tuesday afternoon to expedite the mailing of the Ride Guide, followed by a short walk across Doty St to register to speak in favor of the adoption of the Mayor's Platinum Bicycling Committee Report. With enough volunteers, we will be able to finish the mailing before heading over to the City Council Meeting. Following our night of dual advocacy, we will reconvene at the BFW offices for pizza and beer. Please consider joining your fellow bicycling advocates for both of these great causes.
