Hello; Possibly you could seek help from some tire company from out side the continental U.S.A , ie Europe, check the internet Pedibike brickshaw bike taxi London England and other companies from abroad, I found snow chains for a 26" x 2,25" tire last winter, about $40.00 a set, preformed very, very well on the snow and icy pavements, adding much needed traction and limited side to side skidding, an real improvement over bare tires.
