Hi folks, Winter sure was fun, wasn't it!?!?
Well spring finally stepped up and I'm feelin the itch to get cart making again...aaaaand brazing tallbikes, tall carts, tall small bikes, bike ambulences, bike cart sounds systems, carts for puppies, carts for leisure, and carts that morph and combine into mega-zord carts to fight the fossil fuel forces of evil! (meant to be read faster and faster towards the end!) Our past location of my house has been moved to a new splendid place on Dunning off of Atwood. They have a spacious garage with door, no vehicle in it, and are amped about getting stuff done. They also have welding friends in West Bend that could come and give some lessons if we ask nicely! So, who's up for practicing the brazing technique soon? I'll be around more after the 24th (Takin a bicycle tour up to Oshkosh to see Derrick Jensen speak) if you are new and want a tour, but you're welcome to play around if you've had experience(only in a two or more setting). If you have experience and you want to do something soon, I'll throw you the address and Shane's email. Check out aaron's site too! [http://bikecart.pedalpeople.com/] Some decent designs we should try. Ask him for the schematics! Here's to a new season of fantastic creative DIY brazing adventures!!
