What I find hard to believe, is that she was once a Fulbright scholar at
UW-Madison and later employed as a ESL instructor in local schools. (see
her campaign website http://www.electthuy.com/)
I thought they had high standards for Fulbright scholars, but maybe
that's only for U.S. Fulbright scholars headed abroad? If she's lived in
this country for over 35 years and was supposedly certified to teach
English as a Second Language, why is her spoken English so God-awful bad?

Hey! That's my rep on the City Council. When she was going door-to-door
seeking election, the outgoing Alder who was supporting her (Cindy Thomas)
did all the talking. When asked for issues of importance in the district, I
identified single family houses converted to rentals and speeding vehicles
with window-shattering bass on Midvale Blvd., and she blew it off. If she's
lived here since the 70's and doesn't know how important biking is to this
community she's not only out of touch, but downright ignorant- warming a
valuable seat on the City Council.
