Hey Ann/Bikies,

I remember the "grass bike(s)" from last year. I told some folks at St. Paul
Community Garden that it would be cool to make one for the annual Community
garden bike tour <http://www.cacscw.org/events.htm> Does somebody know how the
bike was made or who made it.

Subject: [Bikies] The Art Bikes are coming!

Actually, some of them are already here, coming out of hibernation in a barn in
Verona to my yard in Madison in anticipation of the annual Art Bike Rally that
kicks off Bike-to-Work Week.

The front wheel drive bike is really crazy. There are more bikes where those
came from. : )

I'm a co-conspirator on the Art Bike Rally for the first time this year. Some
of the bikes are in rough shape and I'm not an experienced bike mechanic
(though I am rapidly becoming an experienced changer-of-flat-tires.) What we
could really use help with is trueing wheels. Several beloved bikes are
becoming unridable due to wobbly wheels. Is there anyone out there who could
help with wheel trueing? That would be fantastic. I'd been happy to learn how,
but I haven't got the set up.

Some of the bikes are in reasonable shape but need art-i-fication. Stay tuned
for more info glue-weird-stuff-to-bikes art bike extravaganza...

Mark your calendar and start getting ready.
Your bike wants to party.
