For the last nine years, DNR employees downtown have celebrated Bike to
Work Week by riding together as a group one morning, followed by
refreshments and bike tuneups on the GEF Plaza. The group usually
includes the DNR Secretary and some of his staff, along with a varied
assortment of DNR bikers.

This year, we've decided to invite the neighbors to ride along with us.
If you work near the Capitol, or if you pass through the area, please join
us.

The ride converges on DNR headquarters from five directions: north
(Northgate), east (Olbrich Park), south (Olin Park), southwest (SW Path &
Hammersley) and west (Garner Park). Riders can start at the beginning or
join the rides at scheduled points along the way.

Routes and schedules for the rides are posted on bikely.com; you can view
the maps there, and print out cue sheets:

This ride has been a favorite tradition for some of us at DNR. I hope you
can come share it with us.
