I was there at the accident right after it happened. I believe had the cyclist been paying more attention it would not have happened. That said, that intersection needs a major overhaul to fix the problem. I have tried to make the left from Blair to MRow in a car and it is scary! When I'm on a bike crossing that driveway I pay extra special attention because I know the issue. A certain person was complaining to employees at MRow that there needs to be more lights or something and that may be true but they are in no position to do anything about it so please don't act as if they can or it is somehow their fault if lights aren't installed. I do know that the suggestion was forwarded to the owner. Thanks, Rhoads

What with some bikers continuing east along the sidewalk down Willy, and others turning across north to the path, and that little bitty turn island... and the 'uniquely' times lights (har har) I commute along here daily and quickly learned that ya don't take nothing for granted. I used to quick look over my shoulder down Nolen and then cut over to the island... until one morning when I missed getting nicked by about 2 inches... pretty dang scary when that big steel/glass thing glides in front of you unannounced. I ALWAYS stop now.... I've noticed that drivers will see the thru light go yellow, dart into the right turn lane at the last second to go up Willy, and that presents a huge danger. But this rider sounds like she got hit just proceeding along the walk... the Machinery Row entrance is so poorly placed that I rarely EVER go in there in a car. I've even parked across the street and walked over. I'm rambling!
