Ann,

I have requested to be involved in this project (since I also bike this path
daily) and met with the lead engineer on Wednesday to discuss design issues.
I mentioned the issue of the detour, but the planning is not that far along
yet. I will be present for at least some of the meetings with the
contractors, and will keep Bikies informed on what's happening.

Thanks,
John Rider

Subject: [Bikies] RE: Bikies Digest, Vol 51, Issue 11

As I rode to work yesterday on the John Nolen Path, I wondered how they
would handle bike/ped traffic on the path during re-construction project the
City is working on. I admit this is a selfish concern as it is the only
direct route to my office at the corner of Rimrock and John Nolen! I know it
is early in the process, but I wanted to get this concern on the table. The
detour will be an important aspect of the plan.
