Unfortunately, this would only be for August, and it would probably get vetoed by the County Exec, who is not exactly a friend of mass transit.
I was in Milwaukee a few weeks ago and rode the buses. Compared to my last time on the buses, a few years ago, the system seemed kind of tired and rundown, and the fare had gone up to $2.00. I would guess that the causes of this decline come from outside the bus system itself.
