As the " herd ", flock of wild-ly' friendly and curious Canadian geese take
over the Monona convention center bike path, adjust riding habits to moving
slow and complete stop. I know from 1st hand experience that full size adult
Canadian Geese are almost fearless when protecting their territory, I saw a
female goose attack a 180lb man once whom came way too close to the nesting
area and her brood. These geese have decided to " make " home right there near
and on the path , it will only take one or two goose bites and a good thump to
the head for an person to respect those birds. Believe me and just slow down
and let the geese be there. Or you may be the next person to learn the hard way.
