I rode to Sauk City (and then on to La Crosse) last fall and took this route
in between the trail sections. The trail veers north where Lodi-Springfield
Road used to intersect with Highway 12. The trail goes around a large mound
for a couple of hundred yards. Just where it begins to turn to the left
again, there is a connection to Lodi-Springfield Road on your right. Go
north on Lodi-Springfield Road (across County P) and then turn left (west)
on Brereton Road. Follow that to where it joins County V. Follow County V
to KP, then go right (North) on KP. Turn Left on County Y and follow that
through Roxbury to Highway 12. You will intersect with the trail again just
after you cross Highway 12. That will take you into Sauk City. It has a
few hills, but nothing serious and I found it to be a very nice route.

Thanks,
John Rider

Subject: [Bikies] Hwy 12 path

Has anyone recently ridden the hwy 12 path from Madison to Sauk City?
Is there a standard route to bypass any missing sections?

Thanks,
Erik
