She was not in a bike lane, there is not a bike lane on Henry Street
south of Dayton where this crash occurred.

I would also like to sign and I think there would be others around here
as well.

Is this right - she was in a f'ng BIKE LANE when this happened?

Is there a way to get something like the Toronto door law into the
Wisconsin vehicle statutes? This seems like a no brainer, especially if
someone is in a marked bike lane

This might be something BFW could sponsor across the state - in many
communities, one or two bikie advocates talk with local law enforcement,
armed with a copy of the current laws wrt bikes, and discuss
enforcement, etc. This way bikies can clear up any misconceptions and
law enforcement know there are people interested and watching out and
possibly a team approach to educating local motorists and bicyclists.

Anyway, if there's an ecard of support to sign, please let me know the
address.
