Hi, all!

I'm out in Seattle for the Pro-Bike/Pro-Walk meeting and the Thunderhead
Retreat, and had a chance to chat with Jack Hirt about the Board.

Yes, please apply if you are interested in working with Bike Fed. As always,
there is always a ton of potential talent in Madison. If you happen to know
anyone who lives in another part of the state, that would also be great,
because Bike Fed also needs to have contacts and work done in LaCrosse, Eau
Claire, Green Bay, Marinette, Wausau, Dodgeville, etc.

More than anything, please apply or recommend that others apply if you or
the other person is willing to put in one of the Three Ws: Work, Wealth, or
Wisdom:
Work: Willingness to work on developing new programs, ideas about programs
and funding sources for programs, background in past advocacy that you want
to put to work, interest in implementing a program, etc.
Wealth: Fund raising experience - or even willingness to ask for money,
contacts with people who can be donors, knowledge of how to find donors,
etc. is always welcome.
Wisdom: Skills like strategic planning, accounting, legal, lobbying,
education, etc.

The sentence about being a WORKING BOARD is very important. Bike Fed is
looking for people to work for the organization. So if you are interested,
or know someone else, please submit an application.

Robbie
