Actually Larry, the quote at the bottom of my message that you refer to wasn't 
mine.  I neglected to mention that it was Mr. Mike Barrett who penned that one. 
 

I like the quote since it's a response to those in the highway building 
industry who suggest environmentally minded folks (like myself) are guilty of 
advocating for "social engineering" when they propose alternatives to highway 
building (such as financial incentives for people to drive less).
