Was anyone able to attend this meeting? I biked up & down Badger Rd, after surviving the ride down Fish Hatch, & wasn't able to find the place. I gave up because my hands were freezing (accidentally just wore wind stopper gloves w/no insulation). I made an effort but will have to email my comments, I guess...
Looking at Mapquest again, it must have been that little white building @ the end of Badger. I didn't see any cars, bikes, or anything else to indicate there was a mtg! Would have been nice if they'd put up a sign or something. Mike Rewey ********************************* Public information meeting on US 12 improvements in Dane County Dec. 3 The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) announced today that planned improvements to the US 12/Fish Hatchery Road Interchange in Dane County will be discussed at a public information meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008. The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the city of Madison Street and Sanitation Building (1501 W. Badger Road) in Madison. WisDOT is proposing to reconstruct portions of the US 12 and Fish Hatchery Road Interchange south of US 12 in Dane County. Proposed improvements include reconstructing the southbound Fish Hatchery Road to eastbound US 12 entrance loop ramp and realigning the eastbound US 12 exit loop ramp to northbound Fish Hatchery Road connection. The improvements also include minor widening on both sides of Fish Hatchery Road between Greenway Cross and the US 12 overpass structure and signals at the new ramp connection with Fish Hatchery Road. Construction is currently scheduled for 2009. The Dec. 3 meeting will be conducted in an open house format with a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. Representatives from WisDOT will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening. Attendees will have the option of making written or verbal comments during the gathering.
