Hello all and thanks again...I lost count at how many good replies..both on list and off list I've seen at 20+....and count me glad that Collin's attacker has been found and charged...and Robbie's right of course...whilst we disagree in the end on some things we share the same goals in many many ways, sometimes the disagreement is how to achieve them...and yes, we've all had experiences...bike to bike as well...my wife goes into surgery next Friday as a result of a little boy riding right in front of her on the southwest trail..she locked em up to avoid him, went over the top, landing very hard on her elbow and shoving it back into the shoulder socket..breaking the hummerus and tearing bicep, rotater and labrum...odd karma as it happened less than two weeks after she and I, Dean Gore and Brenda Baker and a few others organized the largest Bike Safety Rodeo for Kids at Randall in May (even as odd is that the mom of the little boy started yelling at my wife and offered no help)....she was back on the bike as soon as she could be and we had a great biking quick vacation in Minneapolis St. Paul....PT hasn't helped solve it so surgery is needed...and the comment about studded tires is right..its cheaper...and much less painful than a collarbone break! Best Regards and ride safe! Troy Thiel
