Tomorrow evening the Transit & Parking Commission meets to vote on whether to punish bus riders for their good behavior. Or not.

I believe that it will be important that we show up to at least observe the actions of the commission members. This is a decision that will deeply affect the future of the city, for all the reasons stated on this list, and by important people here:

Folks, it ain't a done deal until it is a done deal. It *is* important to be there. That's 80% of it anyway! You can even testify if you missed the public hearing. Or, you can just be there to make sure they know that the citizenry of Madison cares about a healthy public transit system.

Oh, and if your alder is Webber, Rhodes-Conway, Rummel, or Konkel. Thank them for voting against the budget that punishes bus riders, bicyclists, pedestrians and anyone else who breathes.
