I am sure the people directly involved would like to hear your comments-
There are 3 different agencies handling snow removal on various paths-
Probably the best thing to do is contact Al Schumacher who is the
streets superintendent and oversees all snow removal. I would imagine
[email protected] would be the way to contact him.

Subject: [Bikies] A big thank you for path snow removal!

I just wanted to thank City of Madison staff for doing a spectacular job
maintaining the paths I use on my commute to work. On Monday there were
a couple of patches of ice on my morning commute but they were covered
with sand. I have also noticed that path/street crossings are also
being cleared promptly. Keep up the good work!

I would also like to offer my compliments on the "report a problem"
website. I have reported several issues over the last 6 months and they
were all dealt with promptly and with a sensitivity to the needs of
bicyclists. At this point I can honestly say that the weakest link in
the "how fast are problems dealt with" chain is how long it takes me to
report a problem once I notice it.

A system this responsive is a great asset to Madison Bicyclists, and I
would encourage everyone to take advantage of the "report a problem"
website - doing so helps us all!
