Randy, I am very sorry that the hatred is being escalated. Obviously I can't control these folks- I don't know who they are and I have no authority. As much as I share being a cyclist with them and they may seem representative of "cyclists" as a whole (which they aren't) I say that I am sorry from this end of things. I am glad that we are proceeding with the PSA process and other positive dialogue.
There are jerks out there- some of them ride bikes. Some people have very poor anger management coping skills and react to violence with violence. I can't say I know where these folks are coming from... I don't condone what they are doing, nor do I accept responsibility for their words or actions. Here's to being human and respecting the humanity of everyone.
