There are many ways to get involved in Bike to Work Week this year from
hanging up posters promoting the events to volunteering the week of  in the
morning over coffee and bakery and helping during the week's events. We even
need help after all the fun is over, so please look over the list below and
let us know if you're able to help out!

*1) Distributing posters & postcards *

*2) Helping to lead Workplace Presentations & table during events*

 - Workplace presentations are 30min presentations the Bike Fed gives at
some of our sponsors workplaces. The presentation includes basic bike
commuting tips, material distribution and question & answer time.
  - The Bike Fed receives many requests to table at events before and during
Bike to Work Week, let us know if you're interested in helping to staff
these requests.

 *Tuesday, June 2nd*

  *1) Volunteer orientation meet-up, Bike Fed office 106 E. Doty St., 7-8pm
*

- If you’re planning on volunteering during one of the BTWW events please
plan on attending this training session. If you can’t make it but still want
to volunteer, just contact us to let us know and will find another way to
get the information to you.

*2) Painting yard signs and/or chalking Bike to Work Week stencils, Bike Fed
office 106 E. Doty St, 8-9pm*

- After the volunteer orientation meet-up, we’ll be making signs to
advertise the Morning Commuter stations and chalking bike to work week dates


-Please let us know if you’re planning on attending and helping with this.

*BTWW Events, June 6th – 12th *

*1) Sat, June 6th*

            - 4 volunteers to help during Bike Art Decorating, 10am Madison
Children's Museum

            - 5 volunteers to help during the Bike Art Rally ride, 11am

*2) Sun, June 7th*

- 5 volunteers to help with commuter workshops at the Willy St Co-op, 10am

- Interested in leading a demonstration during the commuter workshop such as
basic maintenance, flat repair, dressing for the commute, etc? If so,
contact Bridget Barry, [email protected]

*3) Tues, June 9th*

-3 volunteers for Isthmus Morning Commuter Station 7am – 10am

-8 Ride leaders to help with bike ride with the Mayor, 8:30 – 9:30am,
Hillington Green at Norwood Pl.

-1 photographer to take pictures of bike ride with the Mayor & press
conference and also count participants

-4 volunteers to help with set-up, Bike Fed table & clean-up of Bicycle
Friendly Business Happy Hour, 5 – 6:30pm, Magnus, 120 E. Wilson St.

*4) Wed, June 10th*

-5 Ride Leaders for Bike to the Mallards helping to lead the ride from meet
up points to Warner Park, 5:15pm - 7pm
*5) Fri, June 12th*

 -10 volunteers to help with set-up, Bike Fed table & clean-up of Final
Celebration in Vilas Park, 2 - 7pm
