It's finally here!
After a full year (*and one month!*) it's time to get your just rewards for
showing Madison what it's like to be a bike commuter.
Bike to Work Week kicks off *tomorrow*, Saturday, June 6 and powers through
Friday, June 12 with the following exciting events and more:
- Art Bike Rally
- Saturday, June 6
- Spread bicycle cheer throughout the streets of Madison among
beautiful pieces of moving art! Decorating starts at 10 a.m. at
the Madison
Children's Museum and the rally leaves the museum at 11 a.m. for
a couple of
loops around the Capitol Square!
- Rollin' to Work with Mayor Cieslewicz
- Tuesday, June 9
- Join Mayor Cieslewicz for his ride to the press conference at the top
of King St. Group leaves Hillington Green @ Norwood Pl at 8:30

- Bicycle Friendly Business Happy Hour
- Tuesday, June 9 5-6:30 p.m. Restaurant Magnus
- Local business owners, elected officials, bicycle advocates, and
members of the Madison bike industry will have a chance to
mingle and enjoy
the new-to-Wisconsin New Belgium Fat Tire!
- Bike to the Mallards
- Wednesday, June 10
- Group ride to the Mallards game with Capital Brewery and Whole Foods
goodness to tailgate. Find your nearest meet-up and the route information

- Final Celebration
- Friday, June 12 4-7 p.m. Vilas Park shelter
- Glass Nickel pizza, Tyranena beer, fellow bicyclists, and music.
