Our Mondays Around Monona rides will be held throughout August and September. See details below.
Not up for a ride? You are also welcome to just meet us at the Harmony Bar around 7:30pm for a social hour on any of the ride dates.
- Ride will start PROMPTLY at 6:30pm on the Capital City Trail at S. Fair Oaks Avenue (see map: http://tiny.cc/RideStart)
- We'll bike clockwise around the marked Lake Monona Lake Loop bike route (~12 miles)
- Ride will end at the Harmony Bar on Atwood Ave. & Dunning Street (see map: http://tiny.cc/HarmonyBar191)
- You can peel off to end your ride at any time if it is more convenient for you.
- Ride at your own pace...and tell us if you are unfamiliar with the route- bear in mind that there may not always be someone biking near you
We will also be available at the ride start to assist you with biking technique (e.g. shifting, braking, cornering, body position).
Upcoming Ride dates are:
Mondays August 17, 24, 31; **Rides begin at 6:30 pm**
**NO RIDE Labor Day Sept 7**
Mondays Sept 14, 21, 28; **Rides begin at 6:00 pm**
Anyone is welcome to join the ride. Be safe. Please wear a helmet. Lights and reflective clothing are recommended.
