Parts of the Howard Temin Lakeshore Path will be closed to everyone but Ironman Wisconsin race participants, officials, and volunteers this Sunday September 13. Also parts of Observatory Dr and Walnut St will be reduced to one lane for the run course, but traffic will be allowed (albeit likely delayed) on the other lane of each of those streets, according to UWPD
I haven't spoken to anyone at Madison PD, but I assume there will be similar partial closures of some city streets near campus and beyond. Expect to be delayed by lots of very fit people (and their spectators) anywhere on the course.
