In days of yore (many of you will remember), before Bike to Work Week registration was mostly online and I was a worksite co-ordinator, one of the survey questions was "I would bike to work more if..." followed by several multiple-choice options. The most common response, esp. from women who registered, was "better facilities to change / clean-up at work" (or the like). Interesting that this article didn't even mention this as a "what women want" item. I suppose one could draw, from this, that the street/safety issue isn't as prominent _here_, but that would be a surprise. --------------------- Paul T. O'Leary Desktop Insurgent Madison WI USA
