Speaking of eliminating flying rights, the city should immediately shut down the flying right at John No Lane and Williamson/Blair. That would be a good first step toward the eventual realization of the Marquette Traffic Plan and Eastwood Park Initiative.
The ambulance driver behavior reminds me of the cop cars who turn on their red flashing light because they're too special to wait for a red light (and then turn them off immediately after getting through the intersection).
