As usual, the city gives highest priority to stinking, heavily polluting motor vehicles, while sending bicyclists on a two-mile detour. Surely there would be some room for bikes in the project, if the city demanded it as a condition of the contract. Why does the city always give priority to heavily suburban planet-hating, tax-shirking motorists while mostly inconveniencing non-polluting bicyclist?
