The official launch of the August 2010 Centurion Cycling event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, at 11:00 a.m., at the Middleton Airport (more details below). To help illustrate the region's excitement for Centurion Wisconsin, I'm trying to organize a group of people to BIKE to the kick-off event via the Pheasant Branch Trail.
For anyone wishing to join the bicycling entourage, the plan is to gather near the Parisi Park entrance (off Park Street, near Middleton's Aquatic Center) at 10:30, and start biking west along the trail at 10:40. The distance is approximately 3 miles, and nearly the entire route will be along a paved trail. The weather promises to be great! I'm hoping for a good turnout of bicyclists.
