Please define 'bicycle friendly'. On the face of it, the plans have several
bike and ped improvements. What additions/changes are you/others seeking?

ofUniversity/Marshall/Ridge/UniversityBay/Farley/CampusDr

Hello fellow bikers -

Attached are three documents showing the proposed/draft improvements that
are planned for the University Bay/Farley/Campus/University intersection as
well as the Marshall Ct./University/Ridge St. intersection.

These plans were discussed at the Tuesday May 25th City of Madison/Shorewood
Hills public meeting that I attended. Jeff Held, from Strand Associates
provided these draft documents by email at my request.

As proposed, the plans in my opinion are not bicycle friendly. I am hoping
that a few of you are interested in this planning process and will send in
your comments. These two projects will take place fairly soon (with the
Ridge/Marshall intersection being started this year), so timely feedback is
important. You can email Jeff using the contact information below.

I'd be happy to discuss my thoughts on these, if anyone is interested, or
help answer basic questions.

"The presentation and DRAFT intersection schematics are attached. Both
locations have yet to go through the formal design process, so things will
continue to evolve."
