In partnership with the Bicycle Federation of
Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Safe Routes to School Network, the Wisconsin
Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is offering a series of trainings on
three upcoming grants that support the creation of bicycle and
pedestrian facilities and programs: Transportation Enhancements (TE),
Safe Routes to School (SRTS), and the Bicycle/Pedestrian Fund. Please
encourage your community leaders to attend these programs to improve
their applications for bicycle and pedestrian projects to make your
community more bicycle firendly.
* Fox Cities Area: Tuesday, June 15th from 1:00 p.m. -
3:30 p.m. at the Menasha Public Library(440 First Street - Menasha, WI 54952).
* LaCrosse: June
24th from 2-4:30pm at the County Administration Center (400 N 4th
